A website is a living, breathing thing. For it to thrive, it needs tending to - and lots of it. Fuse develops websites that can accommodate quick and easy updates, which means more traffic to the site.
When Fuse was hired by Alli to design and develop the new official Tour website, a massive backend system was needed. The Tour runs throughout the summer (and now winter) and attracts a large and diverse set of fans. Some want Tour news, some want sport specific content, and some just want ticket info and driving directions. In order to satisfy this variety of needs, it was critical to develop a solution that would allow content to be kept very fluid. Fuse created a system of flexible content buckets, which could hold any piece of information at any given moment. In the weeks just prior to an event, the site received additional event and athlete news. During event weekends, additional venue info was posted and recap stories were posted in the days and weeks following events.
Fans got the info they wanted and site traffic and ticket sales rose exponentially.
