Responsible for Fuse’s Brand Strategy group, Julie oversees the development of marketing strategies for clients that want to tap into today’s teens and young adults through sports, music, fashion and culture. The Brand Strategy group provides teen and young adult-focused brands with services that include consumer engagement development, promotions development, grassroots program development, athlete and music marketing.

For several years, Julie managed Mountain Dew’s action sports initiatives including negotiating and executing Mountain Dew’s sponsorship of properties such as the X Games and managing proprietary grassroots programs including The Free Flow Tour. Additionally, she identified, negotiated and managed sponsorships of high profile athletes such as pro snowboarder / skateboarder Shaun White. She was also responsible for providing recommendations and then executing launch programs for Mountain Dew’s line extensions, including Live Wire, AMP, and Pitch Black. Julie’s work on the brand also included consulting on endemic print media strategies and consulting with Mountain Dew’s television and promotional agencies to ensure brand consistency and authenticity.

Julie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where she received a B.S. degree in Cultural Anthropology. She came to Fuse after working in sales and marketing at Stowe Mountain Resort, one of the northeast’s top destination resorts. Julie is an avid snowboarder, and currently lives in Stowe, where she spends every winter weekend on the mountain.
