Mountain Dew has sponsored several leading action sports athletes. Fuse has worked with the brand to not only create the brand strategy, but also to generate media coverage surrounding sponsored athletes. Fuse has developed public relations strategies and campaigns that promoted Dew’s associations with sponsored athletes like Hannah Teter, Danny Davis, Paul Rodriguez and Chad Kagy, and leveraged the events in which they competed such as the Olympics, X Games, Dew Tour, and others. The campaigns included outreach to teen and young adult mainstream and endemic media to generate coverage.
