Converse launched a new skateboarding line - Cons - and wanted a unique way to connect with consumers, so Fuse created a “zine”. Regardless of the fact that we live in ”The Digital Age”, Fuse and Converse chose to go against the grain and go “analog” to garner interest from the core skateboard community.
Fuse’s copywriting team produced the majority of the zine’s content. The remainder of the copywriting was entrusted to influencers in the skateboarding world. Fuse shot the book’s photos and designed the zine’s look and feel.
The skateboarding community’s reaction to the zine was phenomenal with Transworld Skateboarding calling it “amazing”.
