MasterCraft, creator of high-end wakeboard and waterski boats, tasked Fuse with developing a targeted public relations strategy to generate editorial coverage that reached beyond the boating industry.
Fuse created a media strategy to leverage existing assets including sponsored athletes, products, and events, to reach out to print and digital media. The first press event was a trip to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to support and visit the US troops stationed there, with ESPN the Magazine in attendance.
Fuse secured MasterCraft’s placement in men’s and lifestyle media and digital outlets that generated 115 million media impressions. Coverage included ESPN the Magazine, Fuel TV, Men’s Fitness, BNQT.com, Splash Magazine, FOX and Hypebeast.com.
