To position SoBe as a supporter of action sports and to increase brand awareness, Fuse developed programs to maximize event media opportunities and provided media training to athletes to increase brand mentions and visibility.
Over 250 million media impressions for SoBe were calculated from broadcast, print and online outlets – mainstream, endemic and trade. Media coverage consisted of in-depth athlete lifestyle pieces to onsite at events. SoBe was covered in outlets including Fuel TV, Event Marketer, CNN, USA Weekend, PR Week, ESPN.com/action, Surfer Magazine and Snowboard Magazine.
