MATADOR Beef Jerky needed to build a stronger connection with 13-34 year old consumers. In response, Fuse concepted and executed the MATADOR Facebook brand page, providing teens and young adults opportunities to get insider coupons and deals, learn about new products and consume entertaining digital content. A custom sweepstakes tab was created to showcase the brand’s product attributes (Bold Flavor/Tender Bite) and in turn offer entrants the chance to win “bold” and “tender” themed prizes. In addition, a friend invite function was built to encourage incremental viral distribution. Site traffic increased 300% as a result of these promotions, and the page gained nearly 100,000 fans in the first 18 months.
