MATADOR SOCIAL MEDIA CASE STUDY_

MATADOR wanted to build a stronger connection to it's targeted demographic of 13-18 year old males. In response to this, Fuse created and maintains the MATADOR Facebook brand page. The page gives teens and young adults a way to get insider promotion details, find out about new products and consume content.

In addition to posting cool video and photo content, we created customized application tabs for the page to promote MATADOR athlete Twitter feeds, product information and a user sweepstakes voting booth where the fans determine the next sweeps prize. Fans are encouraged to cast votes to determine which sweeps prizes will be awareded. We built a friend invite function into this system which adds a viral aspect. Also supporting MATADOR's page were various awareness drivers including grassroots events and targeted print & online ads promoting the user engagement facet of the sweeps prizing.

To date, page activity continues to grow as fans unlock sweeps prizes. Additionally, brand site traffic seen a 300% lift thanks to MATADOR Facebook users. MATADOR has also strengthened it's connection with the core target audience rapidly gaining coveted 13-18 year olds. These male fans comprise the fastest growing audience segment of the fan base.
