Frends after its freshman season

Shop-Eat-Surf.com caught up with CEO Keir Dillon and President Eric Kotch about the new headphone company Frends and how the brand has evolved since its debut over a year ago. Frends has done really well in the last year. Prior to creating a product fans of the Frends Crew were asking them to create something they could buy. Keir realized that they could break into the headphone game and make a difference. Importance to Mountain Dew and AMP:
Since the Frends crew is made up of all AMP sponsored athletes is great to see them doing so well. With their headphones and website being so popular in the snowboarding industry its a good sign of whats to come in the future with the AMP and Frends partnership. The Frendly Gathering was a huge success and that event was sponsored by AMP energy which was great publicity for AMP.
Windells Session 2 recap

The Frends Crew heads to High Cascade
High Cascades signature session features the frends crew for session 2. Danny Davis, Mason Aguirre, Luke Mitrani will be guest coaching on snow. Kevin Pearce and Jack Mitrani will be in attendance but not shredding due to injuries.

Frendly Gathering 2011
The Frends Crew (Jack and Luke Mitrani, Danny Davis, Kevin Pearce, Mason Aguirre, Scotty Lago, Mikkel Bang, and Keir Dillon) united once again for thier second annual Frendly Gathering at Crowley Lake and shreddoggin’ old-school style at Mammoth mountain. Participants participated in a giant slalom race and old school half pipe competition.
If that sounded fun, then head to the east coast edition from July 19-22 at Timber Ridge in Vermont.
Importance to Mountain Dew and Amp: The Frendly Gathering is quickly becoming a large event and with all the Frends Crew Amp athletes this is an easy way to sponsor a fun event that isn’t solely about action sports.
