Fuse was named one of OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work 2015. This marks the fourth year Fuse has been named to the list, an annual project designed to identify and celebrate the top companies across the United States that help their employees strike an ideal balance between work and play. The full list is available online here.

OUTSIDE’s “Best Places to Work” list recognizes companies that encourage employees to lead an active lifestyle, are eco-conscious, and prioritize giving back to the community. Each year, OUTSIDE collaborates with the Outdoor Industry Association and Best Companies Group to compile the list through a rigorous vetting process that assesses the policies, practices, and demographics of hundreds of companies. The 2015 process was driven by employee reviews of their workplaces, taking into account factors like corporate culture, role satisfaction, work environment and overall employee engagement.

“Each year, we consider inclusion on OUTSIDE’s ‘Best Places to Work’ list an honor,” said Fuse partner Bill Carter. “It’s inspiring to be ranked among businesses such as Stance, SmartWool and Skullcandy that are paving the future for employees’ wellbeing. We believe practices like these benefit our staff, our clients, and our business as a whole.”

The environment at Fuse is collaborative and open, where employees are encouraged to openly share ideas, continually learn from one another and make use of various benefits that include a season’s pass to a local mountain resort, an annual fitness stipend, and paid time off for volunteering. Employees are also encouraged to bring their dogs to work and take advantage of a half-day Friday policy in the summer as well as comp days for weekend work. Fuse also provides personalized packages for employees who reach five, ten and fifteen-year tenure that have ranged from surfing trips in Costa Rica to heli-boarding trips in British Columbia. Fuse’s on-site perks include lunchtime yoga classes, annual employee bike rides, and a rec room that hosts fitness equipment and a skateboard ramp.

“The companies recognized in this year’s Best Places to Work list are the gold standard for stellar work environments that seek to empower their employees both in and out of the office,” said OUTSIDE Online Editor Scott Rosenfield.
