CNBC: College students are getting valuable career experience working as brand ambassadors for companies like TikTok and Bumble

CNBC’s ”College Voices″ a series written by CNBC interns from universities across the country about getting their college education, managing their own money and launching their careers, interviewed Fuse Partner Julie Jatlow about how “college students are getting valuable career experience working as brand ambassadors.”

Fuse specializes in creating authentic brand experiences for teens and young adults. Campus marketing programs, similar to the one that Fuse executed for TikTok, have proven to be a successful way to achieve this.

In the article, Jatlow explains that “these programs are a win-win proposition because they give valuable exposure to brands while students gain marketing experience as they move closer to graduating.” When it comes to hiring the right students, Jatlow says that “finding creative and passionate students who have qualities that specifically align with the brand’s DNA is paramount. We’re always looking for proactive students with drive and enthusiasm.”
