Mountain Dew
Fuse has been working with Pepsi’s Mountain Dew brand for almost a decade. Mountain Dew’s dominant role in action sports is due to the brand’s ability to gain and retain the acceptance of core action sports participants through credible marketing tactics and relevant brand positioning. In addition to build brand equity with influencers, Mountain Dew has proven that action sports retail activation leads to increased sales.

Fuse identifies, negotiates and manages sponsorships of high profile athletes such as Shaun White, Hannah Teter, Paul Rodriguez, and Chad Kagy.

In addition to athlete management, Fuse consults on, helps negotiate and manages Mountain Dew’s sponsorships of leading actions sports properties such as the Dew Action Sports Tour, X Games and Winter X Games as well as Mountain Dew’s grassroots efforts such as with Free Flow Tour. To amplify all of these assets, Fuse works with the Pepsi System to achieve retail wins on both a national level and local level.

Fuse consults on creative elements across all marketing channels to ensure brand consistency and action sports relevance. This includes online, in-store, TV, print ads, on-pack and consumer premium elements.

The brand surpassed Diet Coke as the #3 soft drink in the US in 1999 and in 2005, Mountain Dew was the only carbonated soft drink in the industry to grow volume. ESPN Research found that 96% of survey respondents recognize Mountain Dew as a sponsor of X Games and Winter X Games.
